Throughout the 2024-25 season, the Collins Center offers opportunities for the public to further engage with the internationally recognized artists coming to Orono. The current season includes several free pre-performance discussions, lecture/demonstrations, and masterclasses – all designed to deeper your connection to the performers and the performances. The following performances have pre-performance talks:

- Yamato Drummers ¬ – Jan. 29, 6 p.m.
- The StepCrew – Feb. 28, 6 p.m. – open to members invited to a pre-show reception
- Paul Taylor Dance Company ¬ – March 28, 6 p.m.
- Steven Page ¬ – April 17, 6 p.m.
