From the South on I-95, take exit 191 to Kelley Road and turn right. Continue on Kelley Road for 1 mile until you reach the traffic light, then turn left onto Route 2 and go through downtown Orono. Cross the river, then bear right onto Park Street. Continue .5 miles until you see a “University of Maine” sign on your left and a branch of Bangor Savings Bank at the roundabout. Turn left onto campus (Rangeley Road). At the fork, bear left and you will see two huge parking lots. The brick and glass building is the Collins Center for the Arts.
From the North on I-95, take exit 193 to Stillwater Avenue and turn left. Drive straight for one mile and turn right onto College Avenue. Drive one mile and turn left onto the UMaine campus (Long Road). Follow the winding road .5 miles then turn right onto Flagstaff Road. The Collins Center for the Arts will be directly ahead on the right after .2 miles. Parking is in front of the building on the left.
There is never a charge for parking. Please use the Belgrade and CCA lots, located on the front side of the building. The University of Maine requires that all visitors during regular weekday hours receive a visitor parking permit. These no-cost permits are available as follows:
- MaineCard Services, 130 Memorial Union. Business hours 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday though Friday.
- Bear Necessities, Alfond Arena. Business hours 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- The Visitor Center in Buchannan Alumni House. Business hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- UMaine Police Department at 81 Rangeley Rd. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All buses unloading passengers to the Collins Center for shows, Hudson Museum tours, or other special events, should pull up along the fire lane by the Class of 1944 Hall, unload onto the sidewalk next to our main entrance, and follow the sidewalk to our glass atrium/lobby. The buses should then make the loop by the Memorial Union and park at the back of the Collins Center for the Arts parking lot.
