Support from individual donors and corporate sponsors is an important part of the Collins Center’s success. Very simply, your tax deductible gifts are used to help underwrite the cost of bringing top-level artists to our stage. In turn, we make every attempt to keep our ticket prices reasonable so as many people as possible can benefit from our offerings.

A note from executive director, Danny Williams:

Recently, we hosted the Russian National Ballet.  Their amazing performance of Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty was filled with highly skilled performers and magnificent sets and costumes.  Of course, this is what you have come to expect from the shows we present at the CCA.

In the middle of the seventh row sat a little girl and her parents.  The girl was dressed in a pink ballerina dress and was mesmerized by the performance – though she did manage to enjoy one of our new ice cream treats at the same time!

That evening, and throughout the season, there was a true display of our broad, diverse audience enjoying the performance, the venue and, yes, our treats! You, our audience, our community – your total CCA experience is why we all work so hard to bring together so many elements.

We are a hub of activity:  cultural, social, and entertaining.  I often wonder just how much the exposure to something like the Russian National Ballet does to inspire a young audience member

As wonderful as it is to welcome a wide array of audience member to the CCA, it is important to point out that ticket sales alone cover only a portion of the costs to present our events.  We need your help.  Philanthropic contributions, like yours, provide the extra funding we need to keep it all going.

Please, help us inspire our community with your philanthropy. Together we’ll create memories to last a lifetime.
