All Things Equal: The Life & Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a compelling and often funny one-woman play that brings the life and legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the stage.

Over the course of 90 minutes, RBG welcomes a family friend into her chambers and reflects on the experiences that shaped her life, from losing her mother just before high school graduation and attending Harvard Law as one of only nine women in her class, to fighting for women’s rights and serving on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Written by Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes, All Things Equal stars Michelle Azar as Ruth Bader Ginsburg and is directed by Laley Lippard.

Kara A. Peruccio is Assistant Professor of History & Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Maine. Her book Strength in Unity: Mediterranean Suffrage, Authoritarianism, and the Limits of International Feminist Solidarity will be published by New York University Press on May 11, 2027. At UMaine, she teaches classes on transnational feminisms, women’s movements in the modern Middle East, and history of the modern Mediterranean world. Kara is a former Jeopardy! champion.
