THINGS TO KNOW:

  • Students are eligible to claim one (1) ticket per non-rental, non-broadcast performance click here for a list of eligible performances.
  • Students are able to pick any available seat.
  • When available, students may still claim their one free ticket at the box office for each event by presenting a valid MaineCard ID beginning one (1) hour prior to the start of the performance.
  • Undergraduate students taking at least 6 credit hours and graduate students taking at least 1 credit hour are eligible for free student tickets.
  • Free tickets must be redeemed in a separate transaction from any purchased tickets. If you are trying to buy one or more tickets for others to join you, redeem your free ticket under ‘Student Tickets’ and place your order before navigating to ‘Buy Tickets’ to purchase any additional seats.
  • Students must actively claim the ticket to any performance they wish to attend. A student ID alone (without a ticket) will not grant you entrance to any ticketed events on campus.
  • Selling, or attempting to sell, your student ticket is strictly prohibited. The CCA reserves the right to remove a student’s ability to reserve tickets if they are found selling or attempting to sell their free student ticket.

STUDENT TICKET PENALTY POLICY

  • Any student who claims a ticket and does not attend the performance will be given a penalty strike.
  • After a student receives three (3) strikes (no matter the event), that student will no longer be allowed to claim tickets for the rest of the school year for any performance.
  • To avoid getting a strike, students who have reserved a ticket but no longer plan to attend the performance have the ability to return their ticket by logging back into the student ticket portal.
  • The deadline to return a ticket is 24 hours prior to the start of the performance associated with the ticket.
