Please join us for an intimate evening of chamber music, featuring Antônio Meneses, former cellist of the legendary Beaux Arts Trio, and Paul Galbraith, one of the foremost classical guitarists of our time. Their stunning program includes a new arrangement of Schubert’s “Arpeggione” Sonata, Brazilian composer Radamés Gnattali’s Sonata for Guitar and Cello, as well as “Five Places from Imaginary Brazil,” written for the duo by the celebrated young Brazilian composer André Mehmari–and solo works to be determined by each artist.

This concert, which is a fundraiser for the Collins Center’s chamber music concert series, is to take place at the Bangor Arts Exchange, 193 Exchange Street, Bangor. There is limited seating; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 581.1755 or fill out this form to let us know you’ll be attending. There is a $50 suggested donation. Please consider a sponsorship at $125/individual or $250/couple, including reserved seats. We invite you to stay and meet the artists after the concert, and enjoy a delicious selection of light refreshments.
