How do I become a member?

Make a gift, become a member! Gifts, including recurring payments, can be made here, or click the DONATE button above.. (Subscribers from the 2022-23 season are members at the Friend level through Dec. 31, 2023.)

Can I become a member any time?

Yes. We’ll place you in the level that corresponds to your contribution. Your membership will be in effect for one full year from the date of your donation.

Is it possible to designate my gift?

Certainly! You have the option to allocate your donation to either the CCA Fund or a specific program, such as the Chamber Music Society, the Director’s Fund, or the Outreach Fund. Any gift that directly benefits the CCA will count toward membership, including endowment funds that benefit the CCA.

Does my membership apply to family members?

Yes, it applies to those within a household. We can recognize individuals or couples.

What if I make recurring payments?

Members who make recurring monthly donations will be recognized at the giving level that corresponds to the total amount they plan to give for the following 12 months. Example: If you donate $20 per month for 12 months, you will be considered a sustaining member at the Contributor level. ($20 X 12 months = $240 for the year.)

What if I make additional gifts before my membership renews?

Initial and additional contributions will be added together, possibly raising you to a higher membership level.

What are ticket exchanges?

When you can’t attend an event, we’ll be glad to exchange tickets for credit toward another performance within the same season. Please give us 48 hours notice before the originally-ticketed event and know that seats are subject to availability. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds.

Are benefits available on all shows?

The benefits listed apply to all events in the CCA season and therefore do not include the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and UMaine School of Performing Arts. Certain rental events may also be excluded.

How do members receive information about events?

All members will be signed up to receive emails about upcoming performances. Please make sure we have your current email address so you don’t miss anything!

Is my gift tax deductible?

For donations that exceed $250, deduct $75 to determine the tax-deductible amount.
